1. Scope of Services and Educational Nature
1.1. Finanzo provides financial education services, including but not limited to online courses, webinars, workshops, informational content, and digital tools. Our Services are designed to provide general financial knowledge, skills, and education.
1.2. No Financial, Investment, Legal, or Tax Advice. You expressly acknowledge and agree that Finanzo is an educational platform. We are not registered as advisors, securities dealers, or in any other capacity with any securities regulatory authority in Canada. The Services do not constitute, and should not be interpreted as, investment advice, financial planning, recommendations to buy or sell securities, or legal, tax, or accounting advice.
1.3. No Fiduciary Relationship. Your use of the Services does not create a fiduciary, advisory, or any other professional-client relationship between you and Finanzo, its partners, or instructors.
1.4. No Guarantee of Results. While our Services are designed to provide practical financial knowledge, we do not promise or guarantee any specific financial result, return on investment, or level of success. Your financial results depend on your personal circumstances, your efforts, and numerous market factors beyond our control.
2. User Accounts
2.1. To access certain Services, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide true, current, and complete information during the registration process and to keep such information updated.
2.2. You are responsible for safeguarding your account password and for all activities or actions taken under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
3.1. All content provided through the Services—including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, videos, course materials, and software (the “Content”)—is the exclusive property of Finanzo and its licensors, and is protected by Canadian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
3.2. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the Services and the Content solely for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes. Reproduction, distribution, modification, creation of derivative works, public display, transmission, or downloading of any Content without our prior written consent is strictly prohibited.
4. User Conduct
4.1. You agree not to use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in any manner that could harm, disable, overburden, or impair the Services. You also agree not to share your account credentials or provide unauthorized third parties with access to the Services.
5. Payments and Refunds
5.1. All fees for the Services are specified on our website and are payable in advance. Payments are processed through a secure third-party payment processor.
5.2. Our Refund Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms, governs all refund requests. We encourage you to review it carefully before making any purchase.
6. Limitation of Liability and Indemnification
6.1. The provisions regarding Limitation of Liability, set forth in the document titled “Limitation of Liability Clause,” are incorporated by reference into these Terms and form an essential part of this agreement.
6.2. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Finanzo, its partners, affiliates, licensors, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your breach of these Terms or your use of the Services.
7. Termination
7.1. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation your breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease.
8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
8.1. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. The parties expressly submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of
Ontario for any dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement.
8.2. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, or their breach, termination, enforcement, interpretation, or validity, shall be resolved by arbitration in Toronto, Ontario, before a single arbitrator. The arbitration shall be administered in accordance with the rules of a recognized Canadian arbitration organization. The language of arbitration shall be English.
9. General Provisions
9.1. Force Majeure. Finanzo shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure results from causes beyond its reasonable control, including without limitation mechanical, electronic, or communications failures.
9.2. Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and any other legal notices published by us, constitute the entire agreement between you and Finanzo regarding the Services.
9.3. Electronic Acceptance. You agree that by clicking “I Accept,” “Purchase,” “Submit,” or similar buttons, or by accessing or using the Services, you are entering into a legally binding agreement and consenting to these Terms electronically.
